Sigulda City

Just an hour’s ride from Riga, Sigulda is certainly one of the most romantic places in Latvia, alive with history and legend. To get the feel of the place, climb the round tower of the renovated Turaida Castle for a view over the gorgeous Gauja valley or spend a moment n the atmospheric ruins of the medieval Sigulda Castle, or listen to the legend about Turaida Rose in the Gutmana Cave.
