airBaltic Cancels All Flights Until 11:30 (8:30 UTC) April 19

The Latvian national airline airBaltic has cancelled flights originally scheduled to depart Riga until 11:30 on April 19 due to an ash cloud from a volcanic eruption in Iceland. airBaltic regrets the inconvenience and will do its best to assist passengers.

airBaltic warns passengers that flight cancellations may extend after this time, and expects to give the next update 11:00 Riga time. airBaltic Riga-bound flights from airports in Europe, Scandinavia, Middle East and the CIS are cancelled.

airBaltic will take every opportunity to assist customers in airports affected by the ash cloud.

Currently approximately 30 000 people have chosen to follow airBaltic on Facebook and Twitter to receive the latest updates from airports. airBaltic serves 80 destinations in Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.

If your trip has lost purpose due to delay, and you do not require immediate change of flight to any nearest available flight, we kindly ask to contact airBaltic for free-of-charge rebooking any time later, so that our staff can assist passengers in urgent need.
