airBaltic to Offer Summer Flights to Belgrade, Madrid and Vaasa

Riga. The Latvian national airline airBaltic will supplement its routes during the summer season of 2010 by adding flights from Riga to three new destinations – Belgrade in Serbia, Madrid in Spain, and Vaasa in Finland. Flights to Belgrade will begin on May 5, to Madrid on June 2, and to Vaasa on March 29. The new routes will offer convenient transit connections via Riga to and from more than 60 final destinations in Western Europe, the CIS and the Mediterranean region.

Nonstop flights to the Spanish capital city of Madrid will be offered by airBaltic four times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Passengers will board Boeing 737 aircraft for a flight that will last for four hours and twenty minutes. One-way ticket prices will begin at LVL 49 (EUR 69), including airport fees and transaction charges.

Passengers will board Fokker 50 aircraft for a flight that will last for one hour and twenty-five minutes.
