Germans proclaim love for Lithuania

Agency: “Our orders from Germany are twice as high as previous years”

Germans, who are increasingly opting for the Baltic states as their holiday destination according to Verslo Zinios, are helping to dispel the pessimistic moods that prevailed at the beginning of the year when everyone thought tourists would stay home at this difficult time. "Today our orders from Germany are twice as high compared to previous years. The majority are pensioners. We are glad to say they are now choosing trips already for 2010," Kestutis Ambrazaitis, head of the incoming agency Lithuanian Tours, says.
