First plane on route from newcomer Star1 Airlines takes off
Finally, in a development that came something of a surprise to most Lithuanians, Vilnius and London have once again been connected by air. On Friday, newcomer airline Star1 Airlines had its first plane to the UK capital take off from Vilnius International Airport. The airline has launched direct flights to London, Dublin and Girona near Barcelona in Spain. Star1 Airlines is owned by Star Team Group, which also operates the new tour operator Star Holidays.
