airBaltic Launches Nonstop Flights from Riga to Turku

On Thursday, 9 July 2009, Latvian airline airBaltic will launch nonstop flights from Riga to Turku, city of Finland, which is situated in the southwest of the country at the estuary of the Aura River to the Baltic Sea.
airBaltic will fly to Turku four times a week: on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Passengers will board a Fokker 50 airplane for a flight that will last for 1 hour and 20 minutes. One-way ticket prices will start at LVL 26 (EUR 37), including airport taxes and transaction fees. Schedule of flights is available on company’s homepage: www.airbaltic.com.

Turku is the historical centre of Finland as it was the capital of the country during the period from 1809 till 1812.
