US Embassy in Latvia says this should attract more tourists
The US Embassy in Latvia has praised Latvia’s recent attempts to eliminate the number of companies trying to commit crimes against tourists in Riga. The embassy says it especially appreciates the fight against bars and pubs where foreign travellers are regularly targeted and hopes that this will help the Latvian tourism industry to flourish and attract greater numbers of tourists to the city.
