No great hopes held out for Lithuanian song festival

Hotels in Vilnius say they are not optimistic about the Amziu Sutartine song festival, billed as the event of the year, which is promising to bring more than 40,000 participants to the city, since only a thousand guests will use hotel accommodation. Some hotels are seeing temporary relief from their atrocious 2009 occupancy figures with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly session currently taking place in Vilnius.
