Great Baltic Tour launched for third year

Project aimed at boosting sightseeing action across region

Organized by the Lithuanian State Tourism Department and the tourist boards of Latvia and Estonia, the Great Baltic Tour starts again this Friday for the third year in a row. The project is aimed at supporting local as well as pan-Baltic tourism, increasing the flow of foreign tourists to and around the Baltic states and creating an image of three closely linked, tourism-friendly countries. To participate, register at the www.greatbaltic.eu website, pick up a map or a booklet at your nearest tourist information centre and start off on your “great tour” of the Baltic region.
