Yet another new hotel for central Riga

Opulent hotel is “haven of grandeur, hospitality and luxury”

An opulent new hotel, the Gallery Park Hotel, has opened at K.Valdemara Street 7 in Riga. LVL 3 million (EUR 4.3 million) was invested in the restoration of the building, which was originally constructed in 1875. The new property is, according its website, “a haven of grandeur, hospitality and luxury”. Janis Ozolins, a project manager at RBSSKALS, the company that carried out the restoration, said that the work lasted two years as the “technical state” of the building was not particularly sound. The new hotel consists of 24 rooms, including deluxe suites. Several more hotels will be unveiled in Riga this summer, including the LVL 2.5 million Dome Hotel & SPA in June, which will have 15 luxury deluxe rooms and a small but flashy spa.
