Still no agreement between VNO and Skyways 2009-05-06
European Capital of Culture more like European backyard
Vilnius International Airport and the Swedish airline Skyways have still not signed a long-awaited cooperation agreement on a series of direct flights from the Lithuanian capital. As a result, the European Capital of Culture remains isolated from the world. The agreement on direct flights between Vilnius and Stockholm, Berlin, Amsterdam and Copenhagen was due to be signed last week. Now Tomas Vaisvila, the airport’s general director, insists that Skyways representatives will pay a visit to Vilnius within the next few days.
