Places that should be avoided in Riga to be named and shamed

In another article responding to the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat’s warning to Finnish tourists visiting Riga, Uldis Vitolins, director of the Latvian State Tourism Development Agency, has a warning for Latvian entrepreneurs who illegally try to extort money from unwary tourists. He says that negative information about places that should not be attended by tourists will soon appear in locally produced tourism brochures, so that tourists will eventually stop visiting such places.
