Gondola rides along the city’s canals on agenda for April 25

This year’s tourism season will officially be opened in Riga on April 25, and to mark the occasion the Riga Tourism Coordination and Information Centre is organizing a series of events and activities meant to be of interest for locals as well as tourists. Sandra Inkena, the TIC’s director, invites people to take part, revealing that the activities include gondola rides along the city centre’s hitherto unexplored canals and discovering intriguing facts about the history of Riga Central Market as well as some of the myths attached to it.
