TIC stays closed in Latvian village2009-04-16
New tourist information centre opened in Rauna last year
new tourist information centre was established in Rauna, a village famous for its castle ruins in Cesis District, central Latvia, last year. Even though the inhabitants and the local municipality think that the development of tourism is important for the future of Rauna, the unstable economic situation and uncertainty over how the crisis will affect incoming tourism has prevented the TIC from opening so far this year.
