Estonian Air will see dip in revenues of 15-30% 2009-04-15
Two principal development scenarios foreseen until 2011
According to this article in Postimees, Estonian Air has two principal scenarios for development until 2011. The most optimistic outlook presumes that the number of passengers and revenue will fall by 15-20 percent; the more pessimistic one foresees a decline in revenues of at least 30 percent. Estonian Air President Andrus Aljas says he cannot foresee who could be a buyer for the 49 percent stake in the Estonian national carrier owned by SAS. Tallink may be interested, he says, but he guesses that the struggling aviation sector is probably not the best place for the shipping enterprise to manage its risks.
