Riga International Airport is the third fastest growing airport in Europe, according to the professional international airport operator association ACI Europe. It served 10.3 percent more passengers in January, year-on-year. That contrasts sharply with the average passenger traffic figure at airports in Europe, which was as low as -10.7 percent. Only Liege and Sofia airports did better than Riga.
