Tez Tour Latvia director loves Turkey 2009-03-16
In an interview, Konstantin Palgov, director of the Latvian wing of the international tour operator Tez Tour, recalls that his very first trip abroad was to Berlin in the early 1990s. These days, however, he loves Turkey, a country he describes as having great possibilities for developing tourism in any area; Turkey has many historical monuments and unique natural surroundings. But, when pressed, Palgov says that if he had a possibility to recommend any trip he would suggest a journey round the world by plane, with an itinerary something like this: Riga – Bangkok – Australia – Bora Bora – Tokyo – Hawaii – Los Angeles – New York – London – Riga. Tez Tour recently organized its Roadshow 2009 presenting travel packages and hotels at the Godvil nightclub in Riga, inviting around 150 outbound tourism business representatives to the event. The event mainly focussed on Turkey.
