Tallinn wins major world convention for 2011 2009-01-30
The Tallinn Guide Association has won a bid to host the Convention of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations in 2011. The 13th congress, gathering together 79 different organizations from 47 countries, as well as 300 guides, took place in Bali, Indonesia on 11-16 January 2009. Estonia won the bid for 2011 against stiff competition from South Africa, Armenia and Morocco.
