flyLAL still waiting for miracle buyer2009-01-23
Though close to collapse, flyLAL has not yet filed for bankruptcy. It may do so this week. However, the company's management has started speaking about another mysterious buyer. Vytautas Kaikaris, flyLAL’s general director, claims that the company keeps waiting for a miracle. According to him, "there are interested parties", i.e., companies interested in the possibility of buying an indebted airline. But he is sceptical about such an outcome.
