VNO to take legal action against indebted airlines2009-01-14
Vilnius International Airport has moved to take legal action against what it calls indebted airlines that continue to use its services. The biggest claim, for LTL 6 million (EUR 1.74 million), has been filed against flyLAL, which is suffering financial difficulties. The airport is likely to withdraw its claim against airBaltic, which owes the airport almost LTL 4 million, since it has recently expressed its “goodwill”. The Lithuanian charter airline Aurela has the lowest debt among the airport’s main clients, owing around LTL 1 million.
