Tartu to spend EUR 50,000 on attracting Latvians2009-01-08
Tartu is planning to spend EEK 785,000 (EUR 50,000) on advertising itself as a tourist destination in Riga and attracting Latvians for a visit. Estonia’s second city will undertake the campaign regardless of the fact that this year the long-awaited rail connection between Tartu and Valga will not yet be opened and no scheduled flights will be operated from Tartu Airport.
