"We are trying to realize: the VAT has been raised, the land rent has gone up four times, not to mention the real estate tax. Meanwhile, we expect the occupancy to decrease from 50% to 30%. We do not even speak about profits. The question is how we will survive," says Evalda Siskauskiene, President of the Lithuanian Association of Hotels and Restaurants.
