Estonian Air cuts Tallinn-Kuressaare fares2008-12-17
Starting from December 17, Estonian Air is offering lower fares on its Tallinn-Kuressaare route. The new price range is EUR 16-31 for adults, EUR 14-24 for children, one-way including all taxes. The price depends on the ticket class. “We would like to make flights between Tallinn and Kuressaare affordable for wider numbers of people, including price-sensitive travellers. We are sure that these favourable prices and the possibility to check in via the Estonian Air website will make flying to Kuressaare even more attractive,“ said Andrus Aljas, Estonian Air’s president and CEO. The airline has been operating between Tallinn and Kuressaare since 2 October 2008. It serves the route on the basis of a public service agreement signed with the Saare County Government. Flights to Kuressaare are operated eight times a week with a SAAB 340 aircraft on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Seven of the flights are operated with a state subsidy, one (on Sundays) without.
