SAS shares in airBaltic are found a home2008-12-19
The management at the Latvian national airline airBaltic has decided to buy out the shares in the airline that are currently owned by SAS. airBaltic President and CEO Bertolt Flick: “Even in this difficult economic climate, the management believes in the company's future and has decided to buy the shares that currently belong to SAS AB.“ Closure of the transaction has been set for January 31, 2009. airBaltic added in a press release that it confirmed it would continue its commercial cooperation with SAS.
