Airlines are excited by the boost in traffic that usually accompanies the end of the year, writes Lietuvos Rytas. It has become clear that 80 percent of tickets for flights from Spain, Britain and Ireland to Lithuania for the Christmas and New Year period have already been sold. Many Lithuanian emigrants based in these countries are coming home to celebrate. Even the Kautra bus company has experienced a substantial increase in bookings for the period.
