Valmiera gets heads together to attract tourists 2008-12-12
The Valmiera Entrepreneur Consulting Council has held a meeting with Ilze Liepa, head of the Valmiera Tourist Information Centre, the aim of which was to improve the range of attractions and activities for tourists in Valmiera District. The entrepreneurs offered to work out a solution – a spectacular two-day tour through the area aimed at both local and foreign tourists. The Valmiera Drama Theatre and Valmiera Olympic Centre were named as examples of stops along the way.
