New tourism project underway in Livani 2008-12-11
The district council in Livani, a town of 10,000 souls in southeastern Latvia, has pledged to develop two projects in the hope that they are approved for European Union funding. One of the projects is called A Long-Term Tourism Development Strategy in Livani, for which, if approved, Livani District Council says it will set aside LVL 35,000 (EUR 50,000) in pre-funding.
