airBaltic opens first office in Estonia 2008-12-11
airBaltic opened an office in Tallinn on December 10, in what the airline called an important step in expanding its operations in Estonia. Outside its native Latvia at this time, the airline also has offices in Berlin, Kiev, Minsk, Moscow, St Petersburg, Klaipeda and Vilnius. airBaltic President Bertolt Flick: “The opening of our office in Tallinn is a targeted step forward for our company, because demand for our services is on the rise in Estonia. The new office will make airBaltic far more accessible to the people of Estonia, and our passengers will be able to receive our services and consultations there.” airBaltic currently offers six non-stop flights from Tallinn to Riga on workdays, with a total of 37 flights per week, and three direct flights from Vilnius to Riga with a total of 14 flights per week. During the winter season, the airline is offering flights to 46 destinations from Riga and 10 from Vilnius. The airBaltic office, which is located at Estonia pst. 1/3, provides information about services, sale of tickets, passenger-name and flight-date change services, payments for checked-in baggage, as well as sale of the airBalticcard mobile phone card and airline souvenirs.
