Prices rise in surface transport, fall in air transport 2008-12-10
Inflation in Latvia continued to fall in November, this month by 0.4 percent to 11.8 percent. In general, consumption prices grew by 11.8 percent compared to November 2007, for services by 14 percent. However, consumption prices in hotels and restaurants grew by 0.6 percent compared to October. Prices grew also for tourism, surface transport, public catering, and sports and recreation in November. But air tickets and hotel room rates became cheaper.
