Hotel develops services in Liepaja 2008-12-05
The family-run company Ervils has opened a 3-star seasonal hotel called the Jurnieka Ligzda in Perkone, Liepaja. The young entrepreneurs Inga and Aigars Laugali reconstructed a derelict 19th-century red-brick building creating a glass annex as a winter garden, a “summer tent” for parties and an ark-shaped construction for open-air wedding celebrations. The couple now plan to build a panoramic sky bar. During the winter season the hotel in open only from Thursday to Sunday. Foreign tourists have been keen on the hotel, about half of whom are Lithuanian tourists.
