Lithuanian hotels see more foreign guests2008-12-05
An economic review prepared by Lithuania’s Ministry of Economy says that hotels, hostels and motels hosted 745,000 foreign guests in the period January-September 2008, an increase of 12.3 percent compared to the same period last year. Lithuania’s coastal and spa resorts also saw more foreign guests this year, though some much more than others, the figures being: 54 percent more in Druskininkai, 54.7 percent in Birstonas, 23 percent in Neringa and 2.9 percent in Palanga.
