Events in Asia force agencies to change plans2008-12-01
The terrorist attacks in Mumbai and protests in Thailand have forced travel agencies in the Baltic states to abruptly change their plans. The outbound tourism companies are changing routes and cancelling package tours. However, the attacks in India do not seem to have scared off flyLAL passengers, who were continuing to buy tickets to fly there even as the battles between terrorists and Indian armed forces were raging. On the eve of the attacks the airline was offering tickets to India at discount prices.
