New Tallink vessel to be named in December 2008-11-24
Tallink plans to put a new ship on its Tallinn-Stockholm line, replacing the Romantika, in spring 2009. In turn, the Romantika will be posted to Riga-Stockholm, replacing the Regina Baltica. Luulea Laane, Tallink’s communications director, said that a new, as yet unnamed ship with enough capacity for 2,800 people – 300 more than the Romantika has – will have its naming ceremony in December. The Tallinn-Stockholm line attracted 54,448 passengers in October and 53,930 in September.
