airBaltic in September carried 33% more passengers than last year 2008-10-13
During the nine months of 2008, airBaltic transported a total of 1,971,617 passengers, or 32% more than during the same period in 2007, when the total number of passengers was 1,493,934.
In September, airBaltic operated 4,533 flights, or 33% more than the 3,412 flights of September 2007. Between January and the end of September, the airline increased its number of flights by 33% over the same period in 2007 - up to 35,813 flights in all.
Cabin factor in September 2008 was at a level of 68%. During the nine months of 2008 airline’s cabin factor was at a level of 63%.
The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic was at a level of 78.7% in September 2008. This means that more than 78 of every 100 airBaltic flights in September departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.
