flyLAL may demand more than LTL 300 million 2008-10-07
This newspaper publishes an interview with flyLAL Chairman of the Board Gediminas Ziemelis who answers questions about the conflict between the Lithuanian airline and airBaltic. The conflict has become very sharp with rhetoric flying back and forth between the two airlines. The Lithuanian airline had initially submitted a claim against airBaltic and Riga Airport to the Vilnius courts for LTL 300 million in compensation to cover what it alleges were company losses caused by airBaltic. However, the court satisfied a claim for LTL 200 million. Ziemelis says that flyLAL may submit another claim asking for more than LTL 300 million.
