Top hotels benefit from parliamentary election night 2008-10-07
Political parties participating in the coming parliamentary elections in Lithuania on October 12 have planned where their candidates will wait for the results. Breaking with tradition, the ruling Social Democratic Party will meet at the Best Western Naujasis Vilnius Hotel instead of the Crown Plaza Hotel, where the property is owned by the wife of former party leader Algirdas Brazauskas. The Homeland Union-Christian Democrats have booked space at the Europa City Hotel, while the Liberal and Centre Union has booked the Skybar on the 22nd floor of the Reval Hotel Lietuva.
