Train crashes into platform in Tallinn2008-06-25
A locomotive pulling an empty passenger train was unable to come to full stop last week and crashed into a platform at the Central Railway Station in Tallinn. According to the newspaper Postimees, the accident was minor because the Tallinn-Moscow train was empty at the time and was only arriving to pick up passengers for the 17.10 departure. But the locomotive smashed into a BMW that had been wrongly parked near the platform and came to a stop less than a metre from the station building.
