Number of passengers up by 10 percent at Tallink2008-06-06
In May, Tallink Grupp transported a total of 591,400 passengers, 9.6 percent more than in May last year. As before, the growth was biggest on the Tallinn-Helsinki route with 26.8 percent where, according to the enterprise, operating the fast ships Star and Superstar contributed considerably to the growth. On the Finnish-Swedish routes the number of passengers fell by 6.4 percent to 210,247 passengers. The number of cars grew by 18.6 percent.
