flyLAL’s ambitions keep on growing

2008-06-06

With the demand for flights growing rapidly in Lithuania, airlines are directing investments to expanding and upgrading their fleets, according to this article. The main focus is on the purchase of spacious Boeing 757s. flyLAL is aiming to win the leading position in the Lithuanian aviation market this year, to become, it says, the fastest growing airline in the Baltic states. In 2009, it plans a “major upgrade” of its fleet with at least eight new Q400 Next-Gen aircraft to be bought for USD 25 million.
