Liepaja’s Swan Lake to be renovated 2008-05-21
Liepaja City Council plans major renovation for its wild and overgrown Swan Lake, originally designed by architect Makss Pauls Berci in 1902. The municipality has allocated precisely LVL 11,799 (EUR 16,850) for the work, to be co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. After the reconstruction project, Swan Lake will be included in the Liepaja – ka pa notim (Liepaja by Notes) tourism route.
