Lolita Kozlovska, director of the Daugavpils District Tourism Information Centre, is one of a few fully qualified tourism specialists in Latgale. She thinks that all tourism information centre personnel must know their town and region perfectly. People coming to the TIC are often interested in local tourism routes and accommodation. Kozlovska does not have time to take people on excursions herself, but it sure that TICs will continue to exist in future and that the Internet will never be able to replace one-to-one contact.
