Lithuania’s main daily writes in brief that foreigners, especially those coming from Scandinavia and Germany, don’t mind if rural tourism accommodation has even the most modest conditions. They enjoy what they see as authenticity. Lithuanians, on the other hand, prefer a little more luxury and more facilities. Last year, the number of Lithuanians who stayed in rural tourism “summerhouses” grew by 8.5 percent.
