At the beginning of April, the 5-star Hotel Vanagupe in the pine forests near Palanga opened its Amber Spa, which, the hotel claims, is the biggest spa in western Lithuania. It occupies an area of around 2,000 sq m and absorbed investment reaching LTL 15 million (EUR 4.35 million). Shareholder Eimantas Skrabulis, said that the hotel was preparing to join a prestigious international luxury hotel network.
