Deputies at the Riga Municipal Property and Privatisation Committee have declared their support for the Hotel de Rome privatisation project. The starting price of the auction will be LVL 21.09 million (EUR 30 million). The real estate “object” consists of the hotel building at an area of 7,721 sq m, a cellar and a 1,906 sq m land plot. Janis Lasmanis, chairman of the board of Reho, the hotel’s lessee, considers the starting price too high.
