Passengers arriving at Kaunas Airport typically spend an hour or more waiting to return to their cars in the parking area due to passenger congestion at the tiny airport. Airport CEO Arijandas Sliupas says he is aware of the problem and assures that it will be solved quickly. Last year, Kaunas Airport served 391,000 passengers from 6,089 aircraft movements. Ryanair is currently the only airline that uses the airport. On 16 May, tour operator Tez Tour will start to fly passengers from Kaunas to Antalya.
