flyLAL accuses airBaltic of price dumping2008-04-22
Representatives of airBaltic claim that expanding the number of flight destinations from Vilnius Airport is being impeded by high taxes. flyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines representatives say they have no complaints about taxes, but instead fear that the flow of passengers will soon become too heavy. In Q1, the number of passengers at Vilnius Airport rose by an unprecedented 39 percent. flyLAL, meanwhile, is asking the Lithuanian courts to assess what it calls price-dumping actions. It believes that its rival flies from Riga to the same directions at higher prices than it offers for flights from Vilnius.
