The Riga police are preparing for another big inflow of tourists this summer. Many are expected due to the fact that Latvia has entered the Shengen zone, and also because there will be several big events including the Song Festival in Riga. The police say they will be ready to pay greater attention to public order, road traffic control and water safety.
