airBaltic in March carried 32% more passengers than last year

During the first three months of 2008, airBaltic transported a total of 466,177 passengers, or 38% more than during the same period in 2007, when the total number of passengers was 338,217.

In March, airBaltic operated 3,365 flights, or 35% more than the 2,491 flight of March 2007. Between January and the end of March, the airline increased its number of flights by 39% over the same period in 2007 - up to 9,768 flights in all.

Cabin factor in March 2008 was at a level of 58. During the first three months of 2008 airline’s cabin factor was at a level of 55%.

The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic was at a level of 85.8% in March – 0.6% points more than in February 2008. This means that more than 85 of every 100 airBaltic flights in March departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.
