MEP directs frustration at airline2008-04-07
On Friday March 28, a scheduled airBaltic flight from Brussels to Vilnius was delayed by several hours. The passengers were informed that the flight would be postponed, but according to this report they were not taken care of, offered neither food nor a stay at a hotel. They slept on chairs and windowsills at the airport. One of the passengers, MEP Eugenijus Maldeikis, said he was “totally disappointed” with the quality of the company's service. Tadas Vizgirda, airBaltic’s general manager in Lithuania, explained that the plane expected in Brussels could not leave Vilnius as a corrosion was noticed in the aircraft.
