For the first time in its history, the Latvian airline airBaltic has carried a two million passengers in ten months. Last year airBaltic reached its two millionth passenger in December.
Starting from this week Latvian national airline Company airBaltic will begin direct flights from Riga to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and Dutch capital city of Amsterdam. The first flight to Dubai will be on October 24 and to Amsterdam - on October 26.
The Latvian airline airBaltic carried 274,791 passenger in September 2008, or 33% more than in the same month in 2007, when airBaltic transported 206,707 passengers.
